I consulted with their engineering team beforehand about local wind loads, and they were incredibly professional. We replaced our old single-skin awning with this, and the difference is incredible. On a 35-degree day in Western Sydney, it used to feel like an oven under there; now, its noticeably cooler at least 7 or 8 degrees difference.

The 'sandwich' panel design really blocks that radiating heat from the sun. It honestly feels like an extension of our living room rather than just an outdoor shelter.
